• Cold Process Soap (Coconut Oil & Palm Kernel Flakes): The foundation of this detergent is a cold process soap crafted from coconut oil and palm kernel flakes. Coconut oil is renowned for its cleansing properties due to its high lauric acid content, which creates a rich lather that effectively removes dirt and grease. Palm kernel flakes contribute additional cleaning power while ensuring the soap remains long-lasting.

• Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate): Known for its deodorizing properties, baking soda helps neutralize odors in clothing while softening fabrics.
• Washing Soda (Sodium Carbonate): A stronger alkaline compound than baking soda, washing soda boosts cleaning power by breaking down grease and grime.
• Sodium Percarbonate: This eco-friendly oxygen bleach releases hydrogen peroxide when dissolved in water. It brightens whites and removes tough stains without harsh chlorine bleach.

Directions: For a standard load of laundry, add 2 tablespoons of natural powdered laundry detergent directly into the drum of your washing machine. This amount is typically sufficient for most normal size loads, but you may adjust it based on the size and soil level of your laundry. Works in both cold and warm/hot water.

There are two size options: Both sizes are conveniently packaged in resealable bags, making them easy to store and use without the risk of spills or mess.

Pro Tip: Replace Your Fabric Softener with Distilled White Vinegar

Why Vinegar?

Using distilled white vinegar as a substitute for fabric softener offers several benefits. First, vinegar acts as a natural fabric softener by breaking down detergent residues that can make clothes feel stiff. This results in softer fabrics without the use of harsh chemicals commonly found in commercial fabric softeners.

Additionally, vinegar is effective at neutralizing odors, making it particularly useful for removing smells from workout clothes or items that have been stored for a while. It also helps to prevent static cling and reduces lint buildup on clothing, which can be especially beneficial for those with pets.

How to Remove Tough Stains Using Laundry Powder and Vinegar (no need for any extra stain fighting treatments)

Step 1. Start by combining laundry powder with cleaning vinegar in a bowl. The ratio should be enough to form a thick paste; typically, equal parts of each ingredient work well. Step 2. Apply the paste directly onto the stained area of the fabric. Make sure to cover the stain completely for maximum effectiveness. Step 3. Gently rub the paste into the stain using your fingers or a soft brush. This helps to break down the stain particles and allows the cleaning agents in both the laundry powder and vinegar to penetrate deeper into the fabric. Step 4. After applying and rubbing in the paste, allow it to sit on the stain for several hours or overnight if possible. This waiting period gives the mixture time to work on breaking down the stain. Step 5. After letting it sit, return to scrub the area again gently with a brush or cloth. This additional scrubbing can help lift any remaining residue from the fabric. Step 6. Then wash as usual.

The strong smell of regular laundry detergent resembling perfume is primarily due to the use of synthetic fragrances(containing phthalates).
