Pink Vanilla Cloud: Warm vanilla, benzoin, and sandalwood rise first—creamy, rich, and enveloping. Pink pepper, pink apple, and sugar crystals add a soft, airy brightness, while cashmere wood and agarwood hold everything in a gentle glow. Vanilla warmth drifting through a pink cloud.

It is intentionally formulated to comfort reactive or easily irritated skin while also supporting mature, dull, or uneven areas in need of restoration.

Each essential oil was chosen not only for its aromatic depth, but for its traditional skin-supporting properties:

• Cedarwood Atlas (Cedrus atlantica) – grounding and balancing, traditionally used to calm irritation and support oily or troubled skin.
• Lavender Bulgarian (Lavandula angustifolia) – soothing and restorative, known to comfort inflamed or delicate skin.
• Patchouli Dark (Pogostemon cablin) – deeply earthy and supportive for dry, cracked, or mature skin.
• Frankincense Carterii (Boswellia carterii) – revered for promoting skin renewal and improving the appearance of fine lines.
• Helichrysum Italicum (Helichrysum italicum) – often called the “skin repair” oil, traditionally used to calm redness and support healing.
• Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) – hydrating and balancing, helps maintain the skin’s natural moisture.

Optiphen Plus, a preservative, is needed for this formula because there is water in the product and we need to prevent any bacterial growth. I chose Optiphen Plus because it is free from formaldehyde, parabens, halogens, and is non-isothiazolinone, making it a safe choice for cosmetic applications.

Stearic Acid is a naturally derived fatty acid often sourced from plant oils like shea butter or coconut. In skincare, it helps thicken and stabilize formulas while giving creams, lotions, and body butters a rich, smooth feel. It also supports moisture retention, helping products leave skin feeling soft and conditioned rather than greasy.

Emulsifying Wax NF is a plant-derived ingredient used to bind oil and water together, allowing creams and lotions to stay smooth, stable, and evenly blended. It helps create that soft, creamy texture while improving how a product spreads and absorbs on the skin.
