Emulsifying Wax NF (E-Wax NF) is a complete vegetable-derived non-ionic emulsifier used to create stable oil-in-water emulsions in cosmetic formulations. This ingredient is recognized for its ease of use and reliability in various products like creams, lotions, and balms. It is completely natural and helps provide a beautiful glide on the skin.

Optiphen Plus, a preservative, is needed for this formula because there is water in the product and we need to prevent any bacterial growth. I chose Optiphen Plus because it is free from formaldehyde, parabens, halogens, and is non-isothiazolinone, making it a safe choice for cosmetic applications.
